New use for an old building
Our Clients wanted to restore this Grade II Listed townhouse to create a family home and an Italian inspired gelateria.
The whole building had previously been used as a restaurant. We stripped out restaurant fittings and replaced a number of long-removed original walls to convert the upper floors and rear wing into a spacious family home.
Downstairs, a glazed firescreen in the main stairwell divides domestic and commercial space. We worked with our Clients in the selection of fun, contemporary fittings which reflect their passion for traditional Italian gelato.
