Borough Gardens, Dorchester

We were selected to participate in a major refurbishment of the gardens funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

We created an oak-clad, elliptical building with a swept flat roof to house a refreshment kiosk and public toilets. The use of natural materials and organic shapes complements the buildings surroundings.

We also updated Borough Gardens House, creating a first-floor gardener’s flat over a community room and extending the ground floor to provide disabled access and facilities. Other works include restoring the potting shed and constructing a Gardener’s Facility Building.
