Kitchen Extension, Preston

Crickmay Stark were appointed to create a spacious kitchen extension. The client wanted an interconnected dining area and better relationship to the garden.

We worked closely with the structural engineer Dencher Consulting to construct an extension as wide as the kitchen. We used glazed walls  and added roof lights to bring more daylight into the existing kitchen. We also installed  light, reflective surfaces. A ceiling that follows the line of the roof gives an increased sense of space.

We administered the Construction Contract with C.G.Fry  as the main contractor. The kitchen units and appliances were designed and fabricated in-situ by Dorset Kitchens.
