ALMHOUSES, DORCHESTER

We are very pleased to be involved in the design of fourteen new Almshouses for Dorchester Municipal Charities. Situated in the centre of Dorchester’s Conservation Area, adjacent to several Listed Buildings and the town’s Borough Gardens, challenged the design team to come up with a contemporary building that respected its surroundings and provided sustainable, comfortable homes for its future occupants.
The project has been submitted for planning.
